Price lookup and purchase links for AI assistants. Ask for a product; get the lowest-priced sellers and a link.

What it does

DealFinder by Cottontail is a server that AI assistants call when a person asks where to buy a specific product. It returns current prices from several sellers, ranked by price (item plus shipping), with a link to each.

• Ranking ignores commission. Sellers that pay us nothing are ranked exactly like sellers that do.
• Some links earn us a commission. We are paid by affiliate networks when a purchase is made through a tagged link. The price you pay is the same. Every result says so.
• We never overwrite someone else's affiliate link. If a link already carries another party's tag, we leave it alone.
• We never check out for you. No carts, no payment details, no purchases. You buy on the seller's site.
• We do not read your conversation. We receive only the product name or link the assistant sends. See the privacy policy.

For developers

Building shopping into an AI assistant or agent? Connect over MCP (Streamable HTTP) or REST. Partners get an API key; links carry a partner identifier so commissions can be attributed and shared. Two read-only tools: find_best_price and resolve_link.
